Where have we been the past few months??
First we would like to say jazakumAllahu khayran to everyone for your support until now. After our promo tour in December, and our event at Al-Farooq Masjid with 2 of the instructors, we were ready for our first AlMaghrib class. Unfortunately, at that time AlMaghrib went through an internal restructuring and class expansion was put on hold. But alhamdulillah, they saw the motivation and potential of the Atlanta community to be a great host for these classes and for them to be a success here.
After much effort we will be hosting a one weekend seminar entitled
"Love Notes" with
Shaykh Yaser Birjas. The class will cover the Islamic conception of love, and its types, most specifically love between a husband and wife, and how to implement it. It will cover how to get married, how to seek a prospective spouse, how to interact once you are married, your rights/responsibilities, and how to sustain a loving marriage and deal with problems that may arise later. It is a class that's extremely beneficial for both married and unmarried people alike. In fact, the 2 weekend version of this course, Fiqh of Love, is by far the most popular class offered at AlMaghrib.
It is a class for everyone, and everyone enjoys and benefits from! It is a class that covers something that permeates society at every turn, but is ignored by the Muslim community and often considered taboo. Come learn about what Islam says about love! To get a taste of the class see what the students of Chicago and Memphis had to say about it!

This will give you a first hand look at what the class is all about.
**Action Plan**
ENROLL NOW!! (http://www.almaghrib.org/enroll.php)
Our goal is 200 students so that AlMaghrib knows we are a serious city who deserves the classes that New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, etc are getting! We need to show them that ATL is serious about gaining knowledge and improving the Atlanta Community. Insh'Allah if we get our goal of registrants we will continue to have more opportunities like this in ATL! Sign up now, seats are limited! Also, make sure you sign up your friends too!
Especially now while your good deeds are multiplied in
this blessed month!
If we do not get enough students enrolled for the class, we will not have future seminars here as other cities would get precedence.
Location and Cost
The class will be held in a classroom on the GaTech campus insha'Allah. More details will be sent out prior to the class, but you must enroll now.
